• Proficiently prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and guidelines, ensuring consistent quality and taste.
• Efficiently handle, portion, prepare ingredients, and store them properly, to support the timely and smooth operation of the kitchen.
• Strictly follow health and safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices, to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment and prevent foodborne illnesses.
• Assist in monitoring ingredient levels and communicate with the management team to ensure adequate stock levels for daily food preparation, while also following the First In, First Out (FIFO) method to minimize waste.
• Work closely with the culinary team to coordinate food preparation tasks and maintain a well-organized prep area, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient production during peak hours.
• Ability to complete tasks asked for by the management team.
