    Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology has an immediate opening for a Northern Regional Sales Manager. The role of the Northern Regional Sales Manager is to oversee all wholesale distribution sales efforts within the region. The areas of the northern region this position includes are the New England states, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the Midwest US. The NRSM will be responsible for motivating, managing, coaching, training, and supporting the region's independent manufacturer's representatives to ensure company initiatives are met.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • The successful Carlisle HVAC Brands (Hardcast, Gripnail, and Dynair) Northern Regional Sales Manager will:
    • Manage and direct the sales efforts of the region's manufacturer's representatives and distributors to ensure their efforts are in compliance with the annual operating plan. This duty requires considerable travel to meet personally with rep/distributors to promote Carlisle, its products, and programs to all levels of the market.
    • Develop and implement Territory Development Plans (TDP's). TDP's will be developed in conjunction with territory sales reps to ensure Carlisle sales plan and objectives are aligned with company initiatives and clearly communicated.
    • Manage the personnel assigned to the regional manager.This includes supervision of daily activities, hiring, training and development of sales representatives.
    • Regularly call on HVAC contractors to promote Carlisle HVAC Brands systems and products includingHardcast, Gripnail, and DynAir. Develop relationship with key decision makers. Develop and supervise distributor programs and promotions and make adjustments as needed to ensure maximum effectiveness.
    • Call on building owners, architects and consultants to develop Carlisle Additionally, perform calls and seminars for these individuals to educate them on the merits of Carlisle's various systems and products.
    • Interface with other company departments to achieve sales objectives. This includes field problem solving and negotiating to satisfy company and customer objectives, which may be in conflict.
    • Consistently report market information and deliver feedback to departments.Thiswillinclude such things as market conditions, competitive pricing, and programs.
    • Providemanagement with written correspondence and monthly reports to cover all aspects of the region that impact the business.

    Education and Experience:
    • A bachelor's degree in business or related technical field is highly preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a sales leader is required.
    • Aminimumof10yearsof experience in the building materials industry is required.
