Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Respiratory Therapist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in line with department requirements and industry standards. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic tests, administering therapies, and monitoring patients on mechanical ventilation.

What you will do in this role:

Perform patient assessments and diagnostic procedures, administer respiratory therapies, and monitor patient responses.
Assist with artificial airway placement, mechanical ventilation initiation and monitoring.
Respond to emergencies, ensure airway integrity, and provide ventilation support during resuscitation.

Qualifications needed:

Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment.
Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment.
State Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
