Job DescriptionThe Behavioral Health Clinician will see Perinatal, Infant, and Early Childhood Mental Health patients.
Job Description:
The Behavioral Health Provider will perform a variety of duties as a member of the Patient-Centered Medical Home, OB, and Pediatrics Teams, including consultations, brief assessments, brief interventions, risk assessments, care coordination, and individual, family, and group behavioral health interventions with children, adolescents, and adults. The BHP will collaborate with medical providers and the care team to address patients' care and support optimal medical and behavioral health for pregnant people and families. The BHP will engage in and support patient access, high-quality care, and the overall productivity of the Department and Team.
Educational Requirements:
A Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, psychology, or a closely related field, is required.
Experience Required:
Two to four years of direct patient care and managed care experience is preferred; however, relevant public sector experience may be applicable. This experience may be in an advanced year internship. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in interdisciplinary teamwork, chiefly medical/behavioral healthcare, is preferred. Public sector experience may be applicable. Experience with infant and early childhood behavioral health is required.
Professional Licensure/Special Skills and Certification Required:
Candidate must be eligible for and actively working towards obtaining a LICSW, LMHC, or similar credentials. Terminally licensed clinicians (LMHC or LICSW) are preferred. DC: 0-5 Clinical Training preferred.
