    UCB is seeking a passionate and driven graduate to join the Graduate Development Program (GPD) as a Marketing and Communications Associate reporting into U.S. Communications. The GDP aims to develop the academic knowledge of graduates through a learning and practical journey at UCB, which enables them to make an impact in the business.

    The U.S. Communications team is focused on growing awareness of UCB and our commitment to patient value with internal and external stakeholders through effective communications and public relations strategies. Our team works cross-functionally across the organization, to deliver strategic, unified, and impactful communications.

    You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the U.S. Epilepsy and Rare Syndromes Team for about 24 months, where you will drive innovative solutions for our class-leading epilepsy products. The position is based in Atlanta, USA.

    We focus on building a program where a UCB Graduate can work in collaboration with diverse teams inside and outside of the team, be exposed to a set of unique formal trainings and access a network of peers across UCBs Brand Teams, U.S. Corporate Affairs, U.S. Communications and within the Graduate Community.

    With this program you will acquire a broad range of professional experience and skills, with a key focus on building a strategy and consistent processes for pharmaceutical marketing and communications for the organization. You will have the chance to start your career in UCBs largest market and shape your professional journey in the pharmaceutical industry.

    UCB is currently transforming our marketing and communications capabilities to engage a diverse set of stakeholders, including patients, doctors, and employees in innovative ways.

    You will be a key player in orchestrating the strategy and operationalization of internal marketing and communications tactics for our epilepsy and rare syndromes organization.

    You will be expected to contribute by taking an active role, including generating insights, ideating new solutions, co-creating content, and deploying and measuring impact.

    Recently graduated from a PR, communications, marketing, or related field and/or has relevant experience in healthcare

    Top-tier communications skills with a knack for understanding an audience and telling a good story

    Ability to see gaps and needs for improvement and synthesize to simple, easy to understand solutions

    Working knowledge of marketing and communications tools, platforms and techniques, including:

    Graphic design, video editing, content marketing

    Storytelling to communicate the right message to the right audience at the right time

    Setting key performance indicators and measuring results of internal campaigns

    Develop creative material supporting the organization's business objectives and strategies.

    Plan, develop, and publish internal marketing and communications materials, including PowerPoint presentations, creative content postings for the internal digital signage network, articles for the company intranet and blog, and internal emails to employees.

    Create a drumbeat of content and material including an editorial calendar for dissemination

    Review and edit materials for content and errors
