*Pay rates are set per office location: hiring in LA, SF, and OC Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive administrative support to our legal team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Prepare, edit, and file legal documents and correspondence.
Schedule and manage depositions, court dates, and other important events.
Arrange travel and accommodations for attorneys as necessary.
Prepare and submit expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain accurate time entries for all legal services provided.
Assist with various legal matters, including labor and employment, general litigation, and commercial law.
Conduct legal research and prepare reports on findings as needed.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-15 years of experience as a Legal Assistant at a litigation firm Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with labor and employment, general litigation, and commercial law.
Expertise with understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures, excellent computer skills with knowledge of Excel and MS Office, including Outlook; experience with Adobe Acrobat or Juris Suite is a plus; excellent oral and written communication skills; exceptional attention to detail; able to work independently as well as with the team; exceptional organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
