    Job Description
    Hybrid in either Durham, NC or Dallas, TX.

    Our financial services client is looking for an ETL Engineer with Java/JavaScript to join their team.

    Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

    Pay Rate:
    $ $63.00/hr on W2

    Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate.

    The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.


    W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.


    Responsibilities of the ETL Engineer with Java/JavaScript:Help to design and develop new products and platformsHelp to inform the strategy for building out the client's Medicare digital productHelp develop and documentation standards and guidelinesHelp upgrade/maintenance strategiesHelp to mentor more junior team membersRequirements of the ETL Engineer with Java/JavaScript:A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldHands on experience of ETL/ETL tools (Informatica/Snaplogic) along with RMDS experience (Snowflake, Oracle)Experience with Angular and Cloud (AWS)Experience with designing and developing data integration solutionExperience working with data and databases, ideally Postgres (Aurora RDS) or similarExperience with data modeling techniquesExperience with Core JavaExperience with system automation by setting up CI/CD pipelinesProficient in Java and experienced in developing RESTful APIsFamiliarity of Data Warehousing methodologies and conceptsWorking knowledge of Cloud platforms and Services (AWS, S3, Lambda, RDS)Ability to perform independent technical analysis on complex projectsPlease be advised- If anyone reaches out to you about an open position connected with Eliassen Group, please confirm that they have an email address and never provide personal or financial information to anyone who is not clearly associated with Eliassen Group.
