Responsibilities Performs a wide range of advance technical preventive maintenance and repairs for assigned facility and/or department to include plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilating, and/or air conditioning services.

Performing tasks such as but not limited to pipe fitting, welding, and machining Operates a variety of plant operation equipment such as boiler, chiller, etc.

Prepares and maintains logs, records and charts. Provides emergency maintenance as requested. Maintains work area to ensure a clean and safe environment. Adheres to safety requirements as required Participates and attends departmental meetings and training. Maintains licensure as required. Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested. Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge. Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to "service". QualificationsJob Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent Three (3) years of related experience Ability to communicate effectively Ability to follow instructions and work independently Ability to read and interpret blueprints Preferred Job Requirements Technical and/or Vocational training in related field of study NM journeyman license in either construction trades or boiler operation
