    SUMMARY OF POSITION:


    • We are looking for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide newborn and nursery care at Lancaster Medical Center. This role involves direct care for newborns at delivery, staying with mothers post-delivery, and caring for infants in the Acute Baby Nursery (Level 1).
    • The ideal candidate should be experienced in leading neonatal resuscitation teams, providing acute and routine care for newborns, and be willing to assist in the transition from a Level 1 Nursery to a Level 2 NICU.
    • Key responsibilities include diagnosing and treating acute illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and promoting health and disease prevention through research and education.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):


    • Master's degree in Nursing
    • Current Nurse Practitioner license
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):


    • Specialty certification
