    We are currently seeking a Tier II Technician to join our team in supporting the customer's computer data communications systems. In this role, you will be responsible for providing design specifications, testing, and inspections for computer networks. The key responsibilities include planning and implementing upgrades, analyzing hardware and software solutions through network modeling, and supporting the installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Respond to and resolve incident tickets, providing essential support to Tier 3 network engineers for incident management and projects (site surveys, coordination, and installation of new equipment).

    Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades, ensuring effective configuration management functions such as updating topology drawings and maintaining accurate asset management records.

    Utilize Layer 1 and Layer 2 network experience to configure and troubleshoot layer 2 switching, including VLANs.

    Demonstrate knowledge of Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, Brocade, and Foundry OS.

    Possess familiarity (though not necessarily expertise) with Layer 3 protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VRRP, HSRP, MPLS, LSP, GRE. Be acquainted with Visio and Service Now.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    A minimum of 7 years of experience, which can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 0 years of experience, a Masters and 1 year, a Bachelor's and 3 years, an Associates and 5 years, or a High School diploma and 7 years.

    Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification requirements.

    Required Clearance: Active TS/SCI, with CI Poly.
