    Job Description

    The Assistant Director of Accessibility will:
    Assist and aid the Office of Accessibility in day to day operations.
    Support and manage academic plans for students with disabilities, promoting strategies and encourage academic and study skills.
    Oversee and manage the Peer Coach Program through the Office of Accessibility

    Plan and implement training, plan and create social activities and supervise the establishment of mentorships through a peer to peer model.

    Support to the Director of Accessibility with testing administration and promoting and upholding the ADA and section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.


    Annual Salary:
    $51, month position

    Job Requirements

    Master's Degree in Disability Studies or related field.

    Knowledge of the American with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. Understanding of modifications, supports and adaptive equipment used by individuals with disabilities in higher education. Knowledge of academic resources to support students with learning differences.

    A background screening will be required.
