    Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of NVRECRUITNGCMD. Responsibilities You will review evaluate budget requests, fiscal control, and reporting of obligation and expenditures. You will have knowledge in the development, determination, and interpretation of budgetary policies and practices. You will research guides to locate accounting, budgetary and financial information and prepare summaries for use by managers.

    You will apply a wide-range of analytical techniques to evaluate and determine the most cost effective use of funds as well as to ensure funds are not over or under obligated and are spent in a timely manner.

    Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

    Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interpreting budgetary policies, precedents, procedures, and regulations; 2) Utilizing an automated financial database and spreadsheet software to develop and improve financial data collection storage and reporting; 3) Formulating budgets and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and/or activities; and 4) Reviewing and evaluating budget requests.

    Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

    Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree OR Possession of an LL.B.
