    *Registered Nurse - Progressive Critical Care Unit (ICU/ CCU)

    _\* Full Time, Permanent position in an Intensive Care Unit - Nights Available \*_

    *Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Progressive Care / Critical Care Nurse to join one of our partnered hospital systems The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the PCCU / CCU Unit. The Critical Care Nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

    *Responsibilities:
    • Monitor and assess critically ill patients' conditions.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
    • Operate and maintain medical equipment utilized in critical care settings.
    • Implement and manage patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
    • Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions.
    • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-care procedures.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
    *Patient Population:
    • Post-op day one Open Hearts, Vascular surgeries, surgical spine patients, TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement), Fempop, Cardiovascular
    • Titratable drips (excluding pressors)
    • ICU step-down level of care, DKA I, Bipap, Opti Flow, Covid-19
    • Neurological/ Post-TPA patient (stroke),
    • Dialysis
    *Qualifications & Requirements:
    • KS Registered Nurse License
    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) _preferred_
    • Minimum of 1.5-2 years of experience in critical care or stepdown unit (Progressive Care Experience)
    • Strong critical thinking, communication, and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
    • BLS/CPR certification required.
    • ACLS certification
    *Additional Information:
    Shift hours -* 12 hr shifts (Nights) 6:45p-7:15a

    • Self-Scheduling with preferences- 4-week schedules available, adjusted by leaders if necessary to have daily census coverage
    • Weekend rotations
    • 36hr/week
    *Pay -* $33 - $50/hr

    _(Varies based on years of experience and integrity of the unit)_


    _*Differentials:

    * _Evening : $3.50_

    * _Night : $5.00_

    * _Weekend 3 pm -7am Friday-Monday: $2.25_
