    RN-ED Team Leader-FT Havasu Regional Medical Center **Description**

    Provides nursing leadership for the Emergency Department

    Promotes HRMC's Mission, Vision, Values and High Five Guiding Principles

    Supports change and participates in the development, interpretation, implementation and evaluation of the departments goals and objectives

    Actively works to improve throughput objectives

    Reports to: Emergency Department Director

    FLSA: Non-exempt

    **Qualifications**

    **Minimum Education**

    X Associates degree Required

    ****Copy of Degree/Diploma required by/on first day of employment

    **Minimum Work Experience**

    1 year Emergency Department nursing required

    **Required Skills**

    Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

    **Required Skills**

    Certifications:

    Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required on hire

    Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required on hire

    TNCC within 6 months of hire

    Competencies:

    Moderate and Deep Sedation within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.

    EKG Course and NIHSS Stroke within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.

    **Required Skills**

    Licenses: AZ RN License or Compact State Nursing License required on hire
