Fixed Asset Accountant
Our firm is working with a growing organization to identify a detail-oriented
Fixed Asset Accountant to support core accounting functions, with a strong emphasis on fixed asset accounting and system accuracy. This position is well suited for an accounting professional who has hands-on experience managing capital assets within the Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the fixed asset subledger, including asset additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation within Oracle Fusion
- Ensure assets are properly capitalized in accordance with accounting policies and GAAP
- Prepare monthly fixed asset roll-forwards and supporting schedules
- Reconcile fixed asset balances to the general ledger and assist with month-end close activities
- Support internal and external audits by providing fixed asset documentation and system reports
- Partner with accounting and operational teams on asset-related inquiries and projects
- Identify and assist with improvements to fixed asset processes and controls
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of accounting experience with a focus on fixed asset accounting
- Direct experience using the Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets system required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Prior audit or large-company accounting experience is a plus
