    Position Description:

    Develops and applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems.

    In this position, the candidate will support the software configuration management processes employed at VTS and will serve as the SW Tools Administrator for the software development teams.

    This position requires direct interface with technical peers, chief engineers, system engineers, and programmanagers within the company.


    Responsibilities:
    Create and organize projects/repositories for software programsGeneral branch management, including setting up branches for new sprints, integration activities, and productreleasesMaintain software builds and build processMaintain source code and source code deliveriesLead the development of automated software installation scripts for end item deliveriesMaintain CM and Test tools, including BitBucket, Jenkins, JIRA, and DockerSet up find bugs, PDM and other source code analyzers as part of the Jenkins buildsImplement automated testing techniques, including performance analysisExecute regression testing on a regular basisImplement continuous integration-continuous development concepts across all software projectsDevelop and manage code templatesDevelop and maintain coding standardsSupport the writing of test plans, procedures, and verification documentationEvaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or servicesIdentify solutions to problems given technology, organization, and management constraints

    Requirements:
    Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S.

    Citizenship)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited universityTwo (2) years to four (4) years of experience in similar positionProven ability to successfully multi-task in a highly collaborative team environmentWillingness to seek-out and assume increasing responsibilities as work-load changesPossess excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal and written communicationProven ability to solve problems quickly and completelyA basic understanding of object-oriented software design principles, distributed computing environment concepts, and principles of routing, client/server programmingExpert knowledge of computer languages, data structures, computer logic and flow-charting, computer program design methods and techniques, all database vendor versions, of all compiler versions, maintaining and debugging live software systems, operating systems, standard development tools, networking technologies and protocolsOverall knowledge of the computing environment at large, e.g., typical uses and user populations of operating systems, communications protocols, hardware platforms, etc.

    Current DoD Top Secret SCI Clearance is a plusSalary Range:
    $120,000 - $140,000
