In Data & Analytics, you will play an essential role in leading, researching, designing, and building Nova Credits global data and analysis strategy.

You will report to Nova Credits Chief Data & Analytics Officer.

You will serve as a conduit to bring key functions together, including data partnerships, risk & analytics, product & engineering, and customer success to develop and implement Nova Credits core data systems.

You will work with customer-facing teams to analytically demonstrate the strength of Nova Credits products and services. Ultimately, your role is to ensure that Nova Credits products deliver high-quality predictive risk signals. Every initiative you work on will be critical for the companys success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

CashFlow Underwriting Analytics:
Lead the Cash Analytics team in their work with bank transaction data to develop categorization, affordability insights, and scores for credit underwriting strategies

Credit Risk Analytics:

Leverage and integrate data streams to deliver reporting and analytic insights with a focus on providing end users with superior credit, risk, underwriting strategies, model risk management, and governance.

Data & Analytics Strategy:
Research and contribute to the formulation of Nova Credit's long-term data strategy with global credit bureaus, alternative data providers, and evolving predictive data sources

Business Support:

Develop a robust customer-facing knowledge base and set of tools to communicate the intricacies of Nova Credits platform, bureau integrations, and data assets.

Support Business Development and Success teams in product expansion, inquiry, and resolution work streams
Cross-functional Collaboration: Interface with engineering management to guide the stable and reliable deployment of DnA insights into product knowledge

People Management:
Lead and support a small team of Data Scientists in building out our global data and analysis strategy
WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH,

YOULL:
Understand Nova Credit's bank transaction analytics strategy
Contribute to our cash flow underwriting module
Meet the team and explore their skills/competencies
WITHIN THE FIRST QUARTER,

YOULL:
Design and support the implementation of cashflow analytic tools for underwriting on both expense and income dimensions
WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR,

YOULL:
Work with the Analytics team to design and calibrate an affordability score using bank transaction data

QUALIFICATIONS:
7+ years of experience working with cashflow and credit underwriting analytics, credit and bank transaction data, and strategy development
Experience in consumer financial services; should have the capacity to develop industry-standard analyses and tools
Experience in model governance and risk management, leveraging regulatory principles such as SR 11-7
Relevant Ph.
D. or Masters preferred (e.g. Economics, Statistics, Operations Research)
Experience with machine learning and statistical modeling tools

Intellectual curiosity is essential along with creativity and technical expertise as you work with data from diverse sources to develop powerful insights.

Base Salary Range for U

S-based candidates:
$203,000 - $229,000, dependent on the candidates individual experience, skills, education, location, and qualifications.
