    JOB DUTIES:
    Develop and support system testing strategies. Participate in planning and designing the Test Automation Framework based on the Test Env Architecture. Support the QA team with the API Test Automation and Testing Tools Implementation. Create test plans and manage testing activities related to on-cycle, off-cycle, and exception releases. Prepare test data and environment requests. Select suitable testing processes and procedures that ensure the efficient, effective, and thorough testing of systems with team input. Provide Project Management (PM) with estimates of testing efforts and testing resources. Create testing timeline. Prepare integration release plan and ensure sign-off. Analyze defects through integration, regression, and performance testing. Provide daily progress updates. Document results from test cases and scripts. Promote positive relationships with market participants and other departments to prioritize customer satisfaction. Serve as subject matter expert. Ensure adherence to ERCOT processes and procedures within the testing team. Represent testing team at meetings and provide reports to management as needed. May majority telecommute from within the State of Texas.


    MINIMUM EDUCATION:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), or related IT degree field.


    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
    Eight (8) years of experience as a Test Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst, or closely related testing/QA position.

    Majority of the time can telecommute from anywhere within the state of Texas
