    Job Description

    The Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit cares for patients recovering from cardiovascular surgeries and vascular procedures.

    The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients who have undergone open heart surgery, thoracic lung surgery, and vascular surgeries while also managing overflow medical cardiology patients.

    Responsibilities

    Manage patients recovering from cardiovascular and vascular surgeries.
    Administer medications and manage IV infusions.
    Perform assessments and provide patient education.
    Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    Must have stepdown and telemetry experience.
    Preferred experience with CV surgery and vascular surgery populations within the past year.
    ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
