Job Responsibilities

With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.

This position is located at the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, Berkeley. Community. Mental Health Center, 403 Stoney Landing Road, Moncks Corner, SC 29461

Provides advanced-level outpatient psychiatric health care to patients of Berkeley Community Mental Health Center.

Within scope of practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, provides psychiatric medical assessments to patients of Berkeley Community Mental Health Center (BCMHC).

You will practice under the direction of BCMHC Chief Medical Director and under general supervision of the Executive Director.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

State

Minimum Requirements:

Positions in the classification require licensure as a Registered Nurse and certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the South Carolina Board of Nursing.

Some positions require a valid driver's license.


Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
