Job summary
The Division of School Facilities (DSF) is dedicated to ensuring a safe, clean and comfortable environment that is conducive to the learning process for the students and staff of New York City Public School (NYCPS) system so students may concentrate on education without distraction.The Director of Maintenance has overall authority and accountability for the maintenance operations citywide and is responsible for the overall maintenance plan for DSF.
- The Director sets policy for work prioritization citywide with an eye on cost savings and effectiveness and safety.
- Determination of downsizing skilled trade positions monetary allocations.
