    SUMMARY:
    Corporate Job Bank is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting department activities. This role entails full management of accounting operations, including payroll processing and preparation of financial reports. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills and exhibit high confidentiality and professionalism.


    JOB TYPE:

    LOCATION:

    • Reports directly to the Vice President

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of 5 years in a senior accounting role, including at least 2 years managing an accounting team
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
    • Preferably experienced in property management or real estate finance
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with PEO software and Yardi is a plus
    • Must be self-motivated and able to manage full-time responsibilities

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Manage daily operations within the accounting department
    • Conduct payroll processing and manage payroll-related tasks
    • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports
    • Oversee and reconcile bank and investment accounts monthly
    • Handle NSF payments, credit card chargebacks, and ACH rent payment postings
    • Manage capital improvement payments and financial documentation
    • Coordinate financial reporting to lenders and other stakeholders
    • Support annual budgeting, tax preparation, and investor reporting processes
    • Implement and maintain financial controls and process improvements

    SHIFT:

    • Regular office hours, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as needed for meetings or events

    PHYSICAL & WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Mostly indoor office settings with standard physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting
    • Needs to meet physical demands such as climbing stairs as the accounting office is located on the second floor
    • Vision and hearing abilities suitable for standard office tasks
    • Frequent use of personal transportation for business-related travel; valid driver's license and proof of insurance required
