    Join Our Team as a Staff Accountant

Join us at Jonathan White CPA, PLLC, where we are currently in search of a skilled STAFF ACCOUNTANT with 1-3 years of public accounting experience and proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

    Responsibilities
    • Handle multiple clients' monthly accounts efficiently
    • Perform year-end closeout from raw data
    • Communicate effectively with clients and manage tasks in a deadline-oriented setting
    • Execute various accounting tasks including W2s & 1099 reporting, data classification, client inquiries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
    • Assist with special projects and tax return preparations
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • 1+ years of full charge accounting experience with QuickBooks Online
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledge of quarterly tax estimates is a plus
    • Expertise in data entry, record keeping, and organization
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
    • Familiarity with Intuit platforms and Microsoft suite
    • Customer-oriented and team player mindset

    The Role

    This position offers a hybrid work environment based in Matthews, North Carolina. As a Staff Accountant, you will split your time between remote work and our corporate offices.

    Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
