    Commercial Sewing Operator

    About the Job

    This role is based in a clean and environmentally-controlled indoor production area where you will work with commercial sewing equipment. As a Commercial Sewing Operator, your primary responsibility will be to serge, sew, and inspect items to ensure quality products are produced.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Prepare materials for sewing by inspecting them for flaws and cutting patterns as needed.
    • Sew kits together according to documentation including CAD drawings/blueprints.
    • Maintain supplies of thread, Velcro, zippers etc. needed for projects.

    You will also be responsible for following safety procedures including those pertinent to the use of a sewing machine and other tools. Additionally, maintaining a clean work environment through proper cleaning/sweeping of the work area is essential.


    Requirements:



    • Prior experience with commercial sewing is preferred but not necessary if you have basic knowledge of reading industrial drawing/blueprints.< br/>
