- Provide online/classroom instruction.
- Fulfill contractual obligations during the term.
- Conduct each class according to the approved syllabus.

- Maintain course grades in the LMS and submit grades at the applicable times.

- Complete annual mandatory compliance training.

- EMS 0xxx and EMS1xxx series courses: Must have an associate's degree, be certified as a Florida Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, a paramedic or licensed Registered Nurse in good standing with Department of Health and have at least three years of field provider experience with an ALS provider, and successfully completed the Level A instructor coursework per FAC64J
- EMS2XXX series courses: Must have an associate's degree, be certified as a Florida paramedic or licensed Registered Nurse in good standing with the Department of Health and have at least three years of field provider experience with an ALS provider, and successfully completed the Level A instructor coursework per FAC64J1.0201.
- Post-secondary teaching experience preferred.
- Demonstrated evidence of professional growth through participation in continuing education and other related activities.
- Proficiency with teaching technologies, including lecture-capture software, such as Camtasia or Kaltura, and familiarity with web-conferencing software to facilitate synchronous online student support preferred.
- Experience in student engagement techniques.
- Demonstrated experience with technology-based instruction preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- All degrees must be from a regionally accredited postsecondary institution.
