The Home Health Aide provides personal care services under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Therapist. The job involves performing simple procedures as an extension of therapy services and assisting with personal care activities.Responsibilities
- Performs simple procedures as an extension of therapy services under the direction and supervision of the therapist.
- Performs personal care activities, including but not limited to: bathing, shampooing skin care/nail care oral hygiene shaving dressing meal preparation/feeding laundry light housekeeping assists in administration medication reports changes in client condition documents provided records submits documentation per Agency requirements completes forms required for client records maintains confidentiality attends inservice programs identifies learning needs performs other related duties responsibilities deemed necessary li communicates effectively with interdisciplinary team participates staff meetings team conferences requested li promotes safety environment clients observes infection control practices follows Agency guidelines reports unsafe situations supervisor/case manager
