This direct hire role allows you elevate your project management and engineering career by planning, implementing, controlling, and evaluating projects.     Salary; $112, Additional $5,000 salary increase for having a Pennsylvania PE License.

    OVERALL DESCRIPTION

    The Project Engineer will oversee the engineering duties and assignments of substantial complexity. Managing of and providing technical support, direction and guidance for engineering related activities, design, review, and implementation will be a crucial port of this role, along with creation of standards, inspection plans, consulting for program and project development/scheduling/costs estimations and continuous improvement.

    You will be overseeing field engineers and supporting managers an hourly workforce. Maintenance issues and support of maintenance managers will be collaborated with on a regular basis. In-house designs for bridges and buildings and structure design is a critical component of this role and successful candidates must show a proven minimum of 5 years' experience in such a role.

    You will manage structural design teams in projects to create, alter and deploy variations of transmission and distribution projects and processes for numerous clients throughout both public and private sectors. You are responsible for also overseeing the teams design, construction changes and budget for each project assigned to you.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    Collaborate with upper management levels as necessary in project/program definition.

    Exercises sound judgment in application of advanced engineering and in quality assurance principles.

    Assists in preparation of budgets for proposed projects/programs.

    Prepare, assign and delegate work to be contracted by any needed third parties.

    Proven demonstration of effective technical writing skills.

    Provides technical Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in support of project and program activities.

    Complies with all safety and security policies and procedures as well as all safety a, policy and procedure enforcement to include reporting of any safety concerns, compromises or hazards affecting operations, the public, self and/or other employees.

    Performs other duties as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    MUST HAVE a Bachelor of Science Degree in relevant engineering field, e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, etc., OR Bachelor of Architecture, and six (6) years of proven relevant engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of engineering and project management or related experience, with either a Master's degree or RA/PE registration required.

    OR;

    MUST HAVE a bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field with eight (8) years of proven relevant experience, as detailed above, without RA/PE registration or Master's degree.

    Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

    Proficiency in the latest version of Microsoft Office suite required.

    Expert proficiency in CAD required.

    Must have working knowledge of all state, local and applicable equipment codes for the assigned area required (e.g., PA Labor Industry, ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel, Elevators & Escalators, NFPA, IMC, and ICC).
