It provides comprehensive eye care, including specialty contact lenses and treatment for a range of ocular diseases. As the area continues its rapid growth, Palm Eye Care is committed to expanding access to high-quality eye care by welcoming another doctor to its friendly team.
What you'll do:
In this dynamic setting, you'll perform thorough patient examinations, recommend vision-enhancing solutions, and prioritize patient education to promote optimal ocular health. Expect a busy practice with approximately 25 patients daily, including a mix of routine exams, rechecks, and short medical appointments. Flexibility is key as you'll accommodate walk-ins and manage some double-booked appointments throughout the day. This rewarding part-time role offers a two-to-three-day workweek (16 to 24 hours).

Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices
New graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong verbal and written communication skillsStrong management, leadership, and organizational skills
Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
Working Conditions
