Description
Provides short-term psychotherapeutic services including individual, family and group treatment + Conduct initial biopsychosocial assessments for patients seeking behavioral health services.
+ Along with patient, develop treatment plans for patient, including clear problem statement, treatment goal(s),with measurable, relevant objectives for a range of behavioral health concerns.
+ Able to provide individual, group, and family therapy services. + Collaborate with other mental health professionals to coordinate care. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation records. + Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. + Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current on best practices in the field of behavioral health. + Advocate for patients and assist them in accessing community resources. + Complete all mandatory AHS trainings and competencies as assigned.Required:
MA degree in Social work, Psychology or Counseling LSW Required. LCSW or LPC license highly pref. Previous clinical/counseling experience with pediatric population Willingness to work a few evenings per week.
Competencies:
Training and experience in Didactic Behavioral or Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy preferred. Ability to multi - task, organize & prioritize workload required. Ability to make complex and time pressured decision making with high degree of accuracy. Experience with Standard Office Equipment (Phone, Fax, Copy Machine, Scanner, Email/Voice Mail) preferred.
