Responsibilities include:
Supervising and providing work direction to hourly union employees
Assigning manpower and equipment for repair and upgrade of mill equipment
Directing planned preventative maintenance activities and handling equipment breakdown scenarios
Implementing safety program goals to ensure a safe work environment
Identifying and analyzing problems effectively


What you need to succeed:
2-5 years of experience supervising maintenance employees in a heavy manufacturing environment
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Preferred degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, but open to HS diploma/GED
Ability to work rotating swing shifts in a 24/7 facility and manage people effectively
Experience in a union environment and familiarity with heavy manufacturing industry
