    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Veterinary Office Receptionist. The receptionist plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.

    Receptionist / Customer Service

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet clients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
    • Check-in clients and their pets, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
    • Check clients out after appointments and other sales (food, prescriptions, etc)
      • Take payments and make change
      • Complete end of day/cash drawer counting
    • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic's appointment calendar.
    • Answer emails and texts (online platform that allows 2 way texting with clients)
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and lobby
    • Clean, organize and stock shelves as time allows
    • Provide information to clients regarding services, pricing, and clinic policies.
    • Assist veterinarians and technicians with administrative tasks as needed.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other staff members to ensure efficient workflow.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the clinic.

    Requirements:

    • Passion for working with animals and their owners.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
    • Responsible, punctual, friendly, respectful, detail oriented, team player, self-starter
    • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in computer applications.
    • Knowledge of basic office equipment.
    • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
    • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings as needed.
