    Job Title:

    Pharmacy Order Entry Technician

    Company Overview:

    OneCare LTC is a leading Long-Term care pharmacy specializing in providing medications to nursing homes, assisted living communities, and other Long-Term care communities.

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Order Entry Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of relevant experience and possess excellent customer service and phone etiquette skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Answer phone calls and resolve all customer requests and needs
    • Enter new prescriptions
    • Accurately calculate quantities of new orders to send based on requested amount or cycle dates
    • Verify accurate input of all new orders and patient profiles
    • Process refills
    • Communicate directly with the pharmacist
    • Print Medication Administration Records and Physician's Orders
    • Comply with all Michigan State rules and regulations.
    • Communicate daily with billing specialists for any overrides and prior authorizations
    • Communicate with the nursing facilities and doctor's offices when needed

    Requirements:

    • Pharmacy Technician experience (1 year preferred)
    • Pharmacy Technician License (Preferred)
    • Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred)
    • High School diploma or equivalent

    Shift Availability: Morning shift and Evening shift (Must work a combination of both shifts)
