Aerotek voted Best Of Staffing, is hiring for mechanical and electrical assemblers with a local manufacturing facility with a pay rate of $20 - $25/hour (paid weekly).

Job Responsibilities:
Electrical

This position will be doing electrical assembly on control panels for water filtration systems

Following Blueprints and Schematics

Wiring control panels

Mechanical

• Performs repetitive plumbing and mechanical assembly or simple electro mechanical assembly involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly work
• Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
• Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence
• Assembles mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination
• Assembles all variations of in-house standard products
• Follows assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, pvc solvent welding and thread taping
• Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures
• Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP)
• Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities
• Reads and interprets blueprints
• Maintains equipment and area in a clean safe condition

Qualifications:

Required:
Minimum 6 months' relevant experience required

Will lift up to 50 lbs independently. Anything that weighs more will be team-lifted or rigged.

Running conduit

Hand and power tools


Shift and Schedule:
1st Shift - 6:00am - 2:30pm

2nd Shift - 2:00pm - 10:30pm
