Job Description

Verify and keep records on incoming shipments. Duties include receiving, unpacking, verifying, and updating inventory of incoming materials in SAP.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages.
Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate.
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses.
Rotate stock based on FIFO method.
Cover chemical operator lab supply duties as needed.
This list is not all-inclusive and may include other duties as assigned and necessary for the operation and management of the site.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Required:

Willing and able to drive a fork truck and pass certification.
Willing to work with hazardous chemicals.
Attention to detail and strong math skills.
Strong computer skills.

Preferred (if applicable):

Experience working with SAP.
