Job DescriptionSnelling is currently seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate for a steel client in Helena, AL. The shipping and receiving associate will be responsible for the operation of the forklift, and unload-load tractor/trailer. Move raw or finished products throughout the manufacturing area. Shift/Hours: 1ST shift, Monday-Thursday, 10-hour days
Pay: $ /hr
Shipping and Receiving Features:

• Operation of forklift, unload-load tractor/trailer.
• Move raw or finished products throughout the manufacturing area.
• Stretch wrap loads to 5,000 lbs., tag, and barcode label, with accuracy.
• Duties require occasional heavy lifting, stacking, and housekeeping.
• Assist in any or all other duties as directed.

Shipping and Receiving Requirements:

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Able to read and understand written instructions.
• Computer mouse and keyboard familiarity, simple data entry to print schedules and report work accomplished.
• Able to locate system folders and print various reports and labels.
• Good communication skills by phone or via email.
• Data entry in web-based trafficking software to plan shipments.
• Operates forklifts, hand pallet trucks
