    Pay:
    $32k/yr to $42k/yr (depending on experience)

    Experience: 1 year of volunteer/work experience assisting others with special needs; 6 months of supervisory experience

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree n Psychology, Special Education, Human Services or related fields required

    Full-time; Direct Hire


    Schedule:
    Monday - Friday, Day Shift (must have weekend availability)

    Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Service Supervisor to join a growing and dynamic team


    Job Description:
    Develop and Individual Plans (IP) for each assigned participant and instructs and trains staff in implementation of those plans
    Provide on-site supervision and evaluate implementation of programs by direct services personnel at all assigned volunteer work and day center programs
    Effectively communicates with participants, family members/guardians, interdisciplinary team members, or surveyors to resolve any issues or report changes in the resident's condition and resolves any issues in a timely manner
    Advocate for appropriate and sufficient program plans to meet the needs of the participant
    Ensure that all participant records are monitored and updated in a timely manner in prescribed order
    Document all significant events and progress; maintain records on each resident
    Assists in plan of corrections for Waiver services following Federal and or State licensing surveys
    Make recommendations to continue or discharge residents from program
    Prepare and distribute reports/records documenting participant progress with ADH programs


    Position Requirements:
    Excellent communication and analytical skills
    Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while remaining highly organized
    Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
    Knowledge in using assistive devices (lift, wheelchair, walker, and gait belt)
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office
    Strong leadership skills
    Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
