Our current expansion in the Northeast is centered on Power Transmission and Distribution.

This opportunity involves working on Substations and distributed generation projects for a leading renewable utilities company. Previous experience in this field is a must.

The role entails managing substation engineering and projects (ranging from 34.5kV to 765 kV) for local and international clients. Responsibilities include overseeing engineering design, project management, and coordination with various disciplines for successful project execution. While not a supervisory role, the individual may lead a team of engineers and designers on specific projects. Some travel, including internationally, may be necessary.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and revise relay drawings, substation designs, and equipment specifications.
Execute complex assignments, providing guidance to junior staff.

Minimum Academic & Professional Requirements:

BS in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer license (preferred)
4-7 years of experience in UTILITY projects

Key Skills: Ideal candidates should be adaptable team players with strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, customer service, and teamwork is essential. Spanish language skills are a bonus.

Advanced knowledge in power systems protection, high voltage engineering, and grounding is preferred. Familiarity with industry standards is a plus.
