About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP 1 – Entry Level), you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live more independently and confidently. What You'll Do
Your responsibilities as a Direct Support Professional will include:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence wherever possible.
- Supporting individuals in achieving their personal goals and improving their overall well-being.
- Monitoring and documenting client progress, ensuring compliance with Careisma's high standards of care.
- Collaborating with caregivers, clinicians, and other team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
- Upholding safety and compliance frameworks, including incident reporting and risk monitoring.
What We're Looking For

- 1 year of experience in a similar or related role.
- A passion for helping others and a commitment to person-centered care.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when needed.
