    The Production/Quality Technician assists in the execution of production processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. The Production Technician will also contribute to revisions of SOPs, master production records, and process flows, and perform regular checks of production activities for compliance. Will assist with additional documentation and provide feedback for continuous improvement efforts.

    We would like to find a highly motivated candidate with some Quality Assurance experience, preferably in a scientific setting. While a degree is not a requirement for the role, we would like a balanced combination of both education and work experience. For the motivated candidate, there opportunity to grow within the Quality unit. Our ideal candidate has great attention to detail and time management skills and is adept at problem solving and multitasking. Adaptability and teamwork are a must. A working knowledge of quality standards is also desired along with excellent written and verbal communication.

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of quality/production processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USDA).
  • Contribute to revisions of SOPs and/or process flows related to production/quality/TPQ/HAL with guidance from senior staff.
  • Regularly check production activities for cGMP compliance, ensuring batch records are accurate and equipment logs are complete, and report any discrepancies.
  • Participate in internal audits, assist in investigating deviations, and help implement corrective actions under guidance.
  • Assist with documentation ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide feedback and participate in continuous improvement efforts using related documentation.
  • Minimum Education and/or Training:

  • Associate's Degree required
  • Minimum Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in quality/production in an industry setting or a related educational background.
  • Familiarity with quality/production systems/processes relevant to the area.
  • Some understanding of quality/manufacturing regulations and guidelines (e.g., cGMP).
  • Experience or willingness to learn about electronic systems commonly used in Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience working with computerized databases preferred.

    In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $ $45.50 per hour for the role of Quality Assurance Technician.
