Job summary
The EC Teacher is responsible for providing children with a safe and healthy learning environment; advancing their physical and intellectual growth; supporting social and emotional development; providing positive guidance and discipline;
establishing positive relationships with families and encouraging their involvement in the education of their children,
ensuring a well-run purposeful program responsive to participant's needs;
and maintaining a commitment to professionalism.
Responsibilities
- • Ability to assume primary responsibility for the planning and implementing of the daily program for children with special needs.
- • Ability to work well with children and staff for providing guidance to foster optimum development.
- • Ability to provide leadership in a classroom setting
- • Develop and maintain appropriately written Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals for students with special needs.
