Job summary
The bus monitor is responsible for the safety and supervision of children during transportation. They must ensure the vehicle is maintained in a sanitary condition and assist the bus driver during emergencies. The bus monitor also provides educational activities as part of school readiness efforts and provides feedback to teaching staff regarding observed behaviors/development.Responsibilities
- Conduct daily child health observation to determine child health status or injuries.
- Secure child medications for proper pickup and delivery.
- Safely transport children on the school bus.
