- Locate and mark facilities per Company Damage Prevention Program and One-Call procedures prior to and during excavations.
- Perform pipeline patrols, population density surveys, leak detection surveys and inspection per Company procedures.
- Coordinate local Damage Prevention and Public Awareness activities.
- Provide oversight and inspection to ensure asset protection and compliance with Company procedures for excavation activities near pipeline facilities.
- Represent the Company during contact with landowner/tenants, public officials/emergency officials and at local meetings. (One-Call, Pipeline Groups, Soil Conservation, USFS, etc.)
- Train and oversee company and third-party personnel as required (e.g., personnel and progression, contractors, visitors
- Perform governmental compliance activities (PHMSA, State Agencies, EPA, USFS, etc.).
- Perform mapping, recordkeeping, and data entry duties per Company policies.
- Identify, report and correct safety and environmental concerns.
- Actively participate in safety programs and initiatives, participate in the development of O&M Procedures, Site Specific Procedures, project scopes and work plans.
- Complete all applicable documentation and recordkeeping; perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, regulatory and Company tariff requirements.
- Demonstrate performance towards operational excellence.
- Deal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy, and professionalism.
- Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and listen carefully.
- Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance.

- High School diploma or GED
- A minimum of two (2) years of direct work experience
may be considered as a substitute for a degree/certification. - Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).
- Achieve and maintain all qualifications and progression requirements applicable to the job classification.
- May be required to achieve and maintain certifications as required to perform job duties.
- Good record of safe work practices.
- Good math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals).
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, P&IDs and other diagrams.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.

Primary purpose:
