Job Title: Registered Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our ICU/Critical Care team at the Northeast Indiana Veterinary ER & Specialty Hospital (NIVES).

About NIVES:

NIVES is a 24-hour referral and critical care hospital located in Fort Wayne, IN. We provide specialized care in Small Animal Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Critical Care Services, serving clients across NE Indiana, SE Michigan, and SW Ohio.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting DVMs with patient care
• Patient restraint and monitoring
• Advanced CPR training and intensive care nursing
• Anesthesia monitoring and radiology
• Administering medications and client communication

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• VTNE and state license

Compensation:

The salary for this position is based on experience and skill level, with an estimated annual salary of $50,000-$70,000, including a $1,000 hiring bonus and shift/weekend differentials.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position requiring approximately 2nd or 3rd shifts and weekend work.
