    Repairs and warranty repair on various types of boats, boat motors; outboards, I/O's, etc...Perform routine maintenanceThe rigging of new engine installsThe rigging of new trolling motor & fish finder installsWinterizing duties and shrink-wrappingUse diagnostic tools to test/set up engine componentsPerform regular trailer maintenance, bearing, and brake serviceUnloading boats, shop cleaning, etc...


    Qualification:
    Marine technician certification or previous marine technician experienceMust have a knowledge of tools and own your own set (all specialized tools for use on-site)


    Knowledge of shop equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsDeadline and detail-orientedAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentMust have high regard for cleanliness and respect for others propertyGood customer service skills, you will be asked to go over certain repairs directly with the customersEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma)1 to 3 years related experience Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsValid driver's license and clean driving recordBoat Technician CertificationCompensation:60,000 - $90,000 annual equivalent DOEBenefits:Excellent earning potential and advancement opportunities.
