    Descripcin general:


    Operates within a crew to clean, repair and maintain the carpets and floors in all areas of the casino including but not limited to: the main floor, stairways, administrative offices, dining areas, Table Games pits, Poker Room, Bingo, bathrooms, Team Member lounge and locker rooms.

    The Custodial Technician may also be assigned the following facilities maintenance duties:
    cleaning outdoor facilities, furniture upholstery repair, pool maintenance, ceiling tile cleaning, air duct cleaning and/or box bailing.

    Responsabilidades:
    Completes assigned tasks in a timely and precise manner.
    Preps carpet, floors, carpet machinery, floor machinery and related chemicals and equipment for cleaning.
    Cleans carpets in assigned area using carpet extractor machinery to remove all dirt, stains, chewing gum, etc.

    Cleans, waxes and buffs tile and vinyl floors in assigned sections to remove all dirt, scuff marks, grime, etc.

    Uses cleaning agents properly and as directed.
    Sorts garbage for recyclable items.

    Operates, maintains in good working order, troubleshoots and repairs carpet extractor machinery, power sweepers, vacuum cleaners and other cleaning equipment.

    Cleans pools, changes underwater lighting, and checks PH and ORP of water.
    Cleans ceiling tiles and heating ducts.
    Reads blue prints in order to properly set-up facilities for events.
    Sets-up and breaks-down facilities for Bingo, concerts, and other promotions.

    Operates high-pressure washers, box bailers, leaf blowers, scissor lifts and other equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with department standards.

    Repairs furniture upholstery.
    Treats stains on concrete and works with high pressure water.

    Removes furniture, blockades, shuts down, sets up caution cones and otherwise protects other Team Members and casino guests from the work area until cleaning process is done.

    Coordinates the closing of areas with Casino Operations.
    Interacts with casino guests and Team Members as needed in a courteous and efficient manner.

    Answers questions and directs guests or other Team Members to a department or Team Member who can assist them or answer their particular question.

    In the course of a regular shift; works, cleans and maintains the areas of responsibility as often as necessary to keep them safe, sanitary and in neat appearance.

    Notifies a supervisor when any unsafe, unsanitary, or defective condition is detected.
    Performs other duties as directed by a supervisor.

    Calificaciones:
    High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
    Must be capable of operating cleaning machines and equipment.
    Must possess basic mechanical knowledge and ability.
    Capable of lifting substantial weight and using simple tools.
    Must be able to read and write legibly in the English language.
    Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.
    Must be able to prioritize and complete tasks within time allotted.
    Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
    Native American hiring preference applies.
