About The Role
We re looking for a Senior Director Medical Affairs Strategy to help us expand what s possible for patients with serious diseases Reporting to the Vice President Global Medical Strategy & Communications the Senior Director will develop implement and lead the therapy strategy and planning for Medical Affairs across all geographic regions ensuring a cohesive approach This individual will also develop and lead all medical affairs activities ensuring partnership within the team medical strategy scientific communications and publications as well as maintain a high level cross functional collaboration across the organization to ensure alignment and One Insmed approach What You ll Do In this role you ll have the opportunity to establish and shape medical strategy ensuring this fits within the overall company strategy that cross functional alignment is attained You ll also Drive development execution of Medical Affairs plans by ensuring strategy is reflected in medical plans that these deliver on critical identified milestones in launch planning Provide leadership input for cross functional partners clinical operations HEOR commercial ensure there is strong medical voice represented Build external relationship network across therapy area respiratory support franchise gain advice Develop data generation including gap analysis evolve product data generation plans ensure OneMedical Keep thought leader engagement strategic plan Partner stakeholders identify integrate innovative ideas best practices into strategies plans activities Ensure comprehensive synergistic approach collaborating Medical Affairs Regions functions drive One Insmed Respiratory Franchise approach Who You Are Must have MD PharmD PhD previous leadership experience across Medical Affairs overall pharmaceutical biotech experience Have Strong knowledge Medical Affairs robust understanding planning previous launch experience Demonstrated ability develop innovative approaches Within Medicine Ability work independently thrive Medicine representation cross functional teams Previous leadership experience influence matrixed team Proven track record leading process operational excellence developing standards Ability collaborate multiple stakeholders functions Attention detail strategic thinker connect components Proven history driving change Strong communication skills written verbal Passion demonstrated enabling creative problem solving encouraging unique solutions Nice To Have but Not Required Previous pulmonology strongly preferred Global or multiple region US advantage Where Work This can be fully remote role selected candidate should perform effectively from anywhere staying connected Insmed team community Occasional travel meetings events expected Alternatively live drivable distance Bridgewater NJ facilities option work remotely time more in person collaboration matters most Travel Requirements Position involves frequent domestic international up
