Position Summary
The UNC Department of Psychiatry is seeking a psychiatrist to work virtually providing psychiatric care to inpatient individuals via our EPIC platform. You will work virtually, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the mental well-being and recovery of patients at Jonas Hills Hospital. The candidate will maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records ( EPIC ) and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This position offers the flexibility of virtual work while making a significant impact on the lives of those in need. The primary shift would be weekdays, daytime hours and yet require participation in the call pool for occasional weekend coverage. The psychiatrist will need to reside in the state of North Carolina.
