    Organizational Structure:
    Reports to the Marketing Manager

    Position Summary :

    Wild Waves Theme & Water Park is looking for a creative and passionate individual who can be our Brand Voice of FUN.

    This person will be responsible for the strategy and execution of both internal and external communications of all types. This position will also support the Marketing Manager by coordinating, implementing, and activating various promotional events at the park.

    Key Duties :
    This position is seasonal.
    Manage, monitor, and grow social media channels


    Examples:
    Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat
    Develop, write, and produce social media content that positively reflects the Wild Waves Theme & Water Park brand.
    Manage social media editorial calendar, posting in a timely and daily basis.
    Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
    Monitor and report campaign performance.

    Actively respond to reviews across all online presences as well as respond to all guest service emails in a timely matter.

    Responsible for documenting all Park events via photography, video, and social media stories.
    Assists the Marketing Manager with all other aspects of promotions, including season pass, and in-park marketing.
    Candidate should be outgoing and work well in an accelerated work environment.
    Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills required.
    Experience in previous supervisory roles preferred.
    Photograph and video editing experience preferred.
    Park Development – Occasionally assisting other departments (such as Public Relations, Catering, Front Gate, etc.) with various in-park tasks.
    Guest Service – Offer direct assistance to Guests who have a comment, question or concern.
    Adheres to proper, appropriate and professional dress code at all times.
    Team Excellence – Maintains the positive attitude in high stress environment.
    Safety – Ensure highest levels of safety are maintained by adhering to company safety and security policies. Maintain a safe working and guest environment.
    Must maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
    Skills, Requirements, and


    Qualifications :
    Passion for social media and digital communications.
    Must be at least 18 years of age.
    Thorough understanding of the social media space and those who engage with it – must be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge base of social media platforms (esp. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube).

    Should be enrolled in a marketing and/or public relations program or have work experience and an education in a relevant field.

    Good academic standing from an accredited college or university.
    Strong written and oral communication skills for both internal and external audiences.
    All candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva. Experience with Constant Contact is a plus.

    Ability to manage multiple projects and accounts in multiple locations and do so within established expense parameters and meet all project deadlines.

    Strong commitment to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of park, division, and department information as required by the company.
    Creative, proactive and an enthusiastic team player with a positive and self-starter attitude. Comfortable learning new software.
    Willing and able to work on holidays, weekends and nights.
    Experience with event production a plus.
    The ability to work independently, and also as part of a team.
    Must be highly organized.
