Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and hospital settings, with a commitment to providing exceptional support to our physical therapy team and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist physical therapists and physical therapist assistants in the treatment of patients.

Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy area and equipment.

Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to infection control and patient privacy.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Experience in patient care is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Physical ability to assist with patient transfers and equipment handling.

Basic knowledge of medical terminology and physical therapy principles is preferred.
