They will be doing pre-assembly on shelves/racks and then installing them into Ford Transit Vans, and Trucks. All candidates must have hand tool experience, wrenches/drills/impacts/etc.
Candidates must be able to work with drills/impacts, measure and do so at a fast pace from day 1, they are not looking to train anyone on how to use hand tools so make sure this is verified.
mechanical assembly experience preferred automotive maintenance experience helps but be aware that someone with a lot of auto experience most likely won't make it in this job because the pay isn't going to justify their experience. Most solid automotive candidates can easily make more than $13 per hour. In the past we've lost several people due to them taking a higher paying job so run this past me before making an offer so we can get on the same page and lock the candidate down correctly and eliminate turnover/rework. hand tool experience open to 8-12 hour days 6am to finish, but typically day is 6am-2:30pm, if they work longer then everone is expected to do so. Same goes for Saturday OT

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED min of 1 year of recent of recent mechanical assembly experience no certifications required They are looking for individuals with prior manufacturing experience preferably a fast-paced environment. Must have prior experience using hand tools (impacts, drills, screwdrivers, and must be able to use a tape measurer) Prior up fitting or automotive mechanic experience is a plus
